And the Winner is ...

Finally, the journey of MTV Roadies - Hell down under is over and the WINNER IS - Nauman Sait, my favourite contestant. He is guy with lots of wit, brain and confidence. MTV roadies show is not for the weak hearted people and need lots of courage to perform the breathe taking task..

Did you watch the grand Finale.. No, don't worry; here I am with the real picture of this popular reality TV show.

The show started with the entry of the evil man - Raghu and he made sure to squeeze out the little life that's left in the roadies. The 2 finalist - Palak and Nauman were flown back to Mumbai only to realise that the Hell is still waiting for them. All the ex-roadies selected Kiri to give them tough competition in the Final.

The ultimate task was that all these final 3 contestants' hands, legs and neck were chained and they had to move forward to grab the MTV roadie flag. Trust me; I got shivers after knowing the conditions of the task. Though Palak lost out early but Kiri and Nauman had a great competition to prove themselves.

Nauman gave his best and was all in blood as he bruised his leg but he didn't stop and Kiri was soon out of the task .

Nauman proved himself as the fittest and strongest contestant to survive these 7 months of adventurous and daring journey of MTV Roadies. He won cash prize of 3.25 Lakhs (Indian Rupee) equivalent to USD 7,000. He was the best among the gang of 20 girls and boys .

I came to know that this Sunday , traffic was less on the roads ,all thanks to MTV Roadies grand finale and as nobody wanted to miss out the Grand Finale of this popular Realty TV show and was glued to idiot box. MTV Roadies TRP reached maximum this Sunday.

MTV roadie is over but there are still lots of reality TV show which are popular and I would keep updating you on the reality TV shows...till then Happy Viewing

Basis of popularity of the Reality TV Shows

Final Countdown has begun as MTV Roadies is in its final stages. Palak and Noman are the only 2 roadies, who would fight against each other in Sydney ..

Other day I was watching another reality TV show on Dance and I feel that there are different basis for the popularity of the reality TV show.

Firstly, contestants go over the top with their act. Everyone wants to prove themselves better than the other and can go to any extent to make sure that they are on the top . The main aim is to get the maximum votes from the public. This reality show had the contestants, who were doing all the stunts, starting from performing different & difficult dance styles till the jumping from the first floor.

All these stunts need lots of courage to perform. You got to see to believe it that one contestant actually broke his hand while performing the heart shaking stunt.

While watching this show the another thing that comes to my mind is that its actually the emotional side of the show that makes the reality TV shows so popular. Every time the contestent is eliminated he not only makes sentimental comments but makes everyone shed tears. All of his best moments are replayed again and these moments build such an ambience that both, the audience and the judges also couldnot control their emotions .

We as audience are always keen and excited to see the contestant's private life. Their fights, romance, family and all gossip make us connected to them. The show, which has more fights, more drama , more romance between the contestents would be the most popular with the highest TRP.

Media like newspapers , radio makes reality TV show more popular as through out the day, the RJ's would keep talking about the shows which builds up the stimulation around the show. Everyone in office, in school , in home discuss the show round the clock and eagerly waits for weekend to catch-up with the latest happenings on the show.

These are the few thoughts that i beleive makes the reality TV show popular.

Reality Show Popularity - You Know it all

Hmmmm....now i know the reason of the popularity of reality TV show - MTV Roadies. The answer is " TWIST" in the show
If you have watched this weeks episode then you can very well image what i am talking about. Don't worry even if you have not watched the show ,i would be more than happy to be your story teller
Starting from the word making task in the pool to the roller-coaster rides,all were mind blowing.

At first Roadies were excited about the ride but then they came to know that before each ride they had to drink glass full of nuts and different syrups which made them really sick and almost all of them puked after 2 rides. Noman's performance was incredible. I can never do such demanding task and hats off to him and the way he managed to survive 3 glasses of horrible drink and 3 rides..It was too good man and he secured the immunity for him.

Twist i was referring to in the beginning was the time when the Roadies were warned about opening the envelope that had a label on it - 'Open at your own risk' even after lots of argument between Palak and rest of the Roadies , they decided to take the risk and opened it and guess what - the letter had one line- Get Prepared for the unpredictable vote out .

Now its vote out time and i was hoping Palak to go and yes that what happened in the beginning of the vote out ,she had maximum vote and was asked to leave the show but then the moment i feared, Ranvijay suddenly unveil the mystery of the letter and asked Palak to select one Roadie and this Roadie would pack his bags and would leave the show. As usual Palak is full of revenge and she selected her enemy and the best Roadie - Sufi.. i felt really bad and wanted Ranvijay to turn the table again but unfortunately nothing of that sort happened and Sufi had to leave.

I am sure like me you must be feeling really bad for Sufi..but i feel reality shows are all about winning the money and the fame and contestants can actually go to any level to be on the Top. One thing is for sure that this is the game and no one is friend , everyone is competing against each other and is trying his or her level best to be the MTV Roadie

I hope next time its Palak again who get to see the vote out.. fingers crossed

MTV Roadies- Hell Down Under- Australia

Oh my God !! Did anyone watch this week's MTV roadies..it was too scary man. I was surprised to see Sufi's performance, believe it or not he actually jumped between the 2 scary crocodiles in the mud to get the chips..and earned the maximum 1900 points ,which got him immunity..
No matter how vocal or abusive Palak is but she always perform her task..

I am sad that my favourite contestant Samrat is out. He was one of the tough guy and am sure would have given tough competition to the roadies..
Hang on there till i come back with this weeks new adventures..

I must admit that MTV Roadies rocks !!

Popularity of reality TV show - MTV Roadies India

I have been watching reality tv shows for last 7-8 years and am big fan of the reality tv shows. The biggest reason why the reality shows are so popular is because its not scripted and all the characters are real and are picked up from the common people. Now a days my favourite reality show MTV- Roadies ,its the 6th season of the show and i have been following it since the season1. The foremost reason why this reality show is so popular is because of its Audition and secondly how the task are being performed by the roadies. It needs lots of courage and effort to go there and perform the task successfully. Although there's lots of conspiracy within the roadies but i like the way the whole Roadies crew plans the task and then the contestants fight for the immunity and vote out sessions..

The best episode was when all the old roadies had to compete with the new roadies in Australia and they actually replaced 5 of old roadies..Palak ,the queen of controversies is back..
